National Passport Office

With the increase in demand for Irish Passports, the Dept. of Foreign Affairs and Trade required an increase in staff to meet the demand following the construction of the new dedicated national passport office in Balbriggan, therefore the third floor of the Balbriggan Business campus was acquired for additional staff.

Works included the installation of new low energy LED lighting with daylight/occupancy sensing, general service, ICT, Fire, and security alarm.
Works also included a new VRF based AC system allowing for simultaneous heating and cooling on the floor plate.

The need for a direct link between both buildings meant that a new dedicated fiber cable was installed between both buildings to enable users to access the central database system across the road without interruption.
