Lawler Consulting were appointed as Mechanical and Electrical design engineers under the OPW Framework to carry out design of services for this new Road Safety Authority (RSA) Driving Test Centre.
RSA Driving Test Centre
The striking new RSA Driving Test Centre building replaces the existing centre. The construction features a single storey 612m² driver test building at the front of the site. Our design includes low energy LED lighting with controls, rainwater harvesting, and a gas-fired condensing boiler. There is also a dedicated fresh air supply system to the waiting area and test centre, with natural ventilation elsewhere. The facility also has public and staff electric vehicle fast charge facilities.
Based on our design the building has achieved an A3 BER rating.
