Forecourt operator Maxol is upgrading its service station network in Ireland as it shifts the focus of the business from fuel to convenience. The upgrade will see the rollout of new-look stores and the redevelopment of several others, as well as the launch of its own-label food and coffee brand.

Our teams designed, tendered and project managed the installation of lighting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, life safety, sprinkler, IT, CCTV and intruder alarm systems, and electric vehicle charging points for both new and refurbished projects.
The main challenge for the refurbishment projects was the requirement for works to take place during normal hours and in a live trading environment.

For the new-look stores, the main challenge is coordinating and managing the various requirements for the numerous food outlets located at each site.
