Design of building services for Bord na Mona Headquarters. The project consists of an extension and the refurbishment of the existing H.Q. Building with an overall floor area of 6,800m².

This project presented some unique challenges in terms of environmental design. Key design elements comprised of the energy-efficient lighting system, daylight harvesting giving a good well-lit internal space for employees, naturally ventilated office space through the combination of openable windows on one side and roof-mounted ventilators on the side without windows and also new heating system.
Connecting into the existing electrical & I.T. services without causing disruption formed a significant challenge which was successfully overcome.
