Daniel joined Lawler Consulting in 1996. In addition to delivering traditional MEP projects, Daniel has a keen interest in providing ‘low cost’ energy reduction services for our clients and works closely with our engineers to ensure each building receives the most suitable and efficient technologies.
I joined Lawler Consulting almost 5 years ago. From Day 1, Lawler has consistently given me the opportunity to gain valuable experience, both working internally as part of a design team and being out on-site managing projects.
As my role here was a bit of a career change, I was a little nervous about considering this new path, but I felt very welcome from the first interview. There is a very supportive team throughout the company, starting from and encouraged by management. There are support structures in place to assist with role development and upskilling, while also allowing room for individuals to take on responsibility and use their initiative.
As I’ve progressed and grown into the role, I began to get more involved in the training of junior engineers joining the company.
The company is constantly looking to branch into new areas of engineering as the landscape of the industry changes. Lawler’s has a very diverse range of internal teams working on a wide variety of interesting projects, so every day offers new interesting challenges.
I commute from a town 30 mins away, and getting to work in the center of the beautiful city of Kilkenny is definitely an added bonus.
