Bolton Social Housing Development
Our role is for the provision of MEP design services for new social housing development consisting of 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom houses that are sustainable in design and achieve the goal of a minimum A3 BER rating. Key design elements include:
Heatpump for heating and hot water combined with exemplar airtightness and insulation levels.
Secondary heating – wood-burning stove.
Combined mechanical extract ventilation unit with self-regulating passive vents.
The roof-mounted photovoltaic array system
In addition to the residential unit each site also includes communal gardens, playgrounds, and associated site development works.
