Daniel Ring

CEO

Daniel joined Lawler Group in 1993 in the role of Senior Project Engineer and in 2007 he became Managing Director of the Practice.

Since graduating he has combined over 34 years’ experience in the roles as a Design Engineer, Project Engineer, and Project Director on market-leading projects both in Ireland and Internationally.

Daniel is a Chartered Building Services Engineer and member of the Institute of Engineers and CIBSE and has gained extensive knowledge in the design of best-in-class engineering solutions for all sector categories including Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare and Residential.

Jonathan Culleton

Managing Director

Jonathan has worked in Lawler Consulting since graduating from Carlow Institute of Technology in 1994 and in 2007 became a Director of the Company, taking on the role of Operations Director as well as Lawler Group’s Quality Assurance Manager.

He is a member of the Institution of Engineers of Ireland (“IEI”) and over the past 28 years, he has gained a vast knowledge of building design in fast-track projects within the Retail and Commercial Sectors and has worked as Project Engineer and Project Director on retail projects both in Ireland and the U.K.

Brian O’Hanrahan

Director

With over 33 years working experience, Brian has established himself as one of the most experienced building services designers within the Country having worked in all building sectors.

He is responsible for the overall design and project management for projects within the Retail and Commercial sectors.

Raymond Breen

Director

Ray joined Lawler Consulting in 2001 as a Design Engineer and over the past 20 years has moved from Design/Project Engineer to act as Lead MEP Project Engineer.

He has considerable experience in both design and particularly on-site project management of a variety of building sectors.

Ray has a particular interest in the design of sustainable buildings and in working collaboratively with architects and clients to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions.

Denis Phelan

Director

Denis is one of the leading technical engineers in the country and has been involved in market-leading projects with a who’s who of leading local and international clients.

Denis is fully conversant Building Regulations and Guidelines and can fulfil the roles required under the Building Control (Amendment) Regulations and to implement the Code of Practice for the Inspection and Certification of Buildings and Works in particular the role of design certifier.

He understands that each development has different and specialised building design prerequisites which require delivering our design process to the highest standards.

James Long

Director

Since 2013 James has worked on a number of high-profile projects for the Practice for various building sectors including Commercial, Leisure and Healthcare.

Since Lawler’s appointment to the OPW Framework in 2015, James has predominantly worked on the projects which were awarded to us and therefore has a great understanding of OPW Client + Public Body requirements for various projects.

James also has a keen interest in renewable & passive energy technologies and works productively with Clients and Architects to deliver cost effective and innovate designs.

Laura McMahon

Director

Laura is a Chartered Engineer and a member of CIBSE and the IEI with over 12 years post qualification experience.

With a Masters Degree in Renewable Energy Technology & Sustainability she is highly qualified across international energy efficiency accreditation’s (including BREEAM and FITWELL), she had been leading the Sustainability Consulting Team since her arrival on projects within all building sector categories.

She works on building services design, thermal, energy and BIM requirements of all our major projects. Also, as head of Credentialing, Laura leads a team providing Environmental Certification, Life Cycle Assessments and Environmental Product Declarations to ISO 14025.
